Top Twenty Lists

The Top Twenty Lists are made of everything Elvis. From his most notable movie and musical performances, to the traits we have come to know so well. Each month a new list will be added with photos and explanations for each pick and topic. The Elvis Presley Tribune do make these lists up and choose the outcome of them however, you the fan have sole veto power. Simply email us reasons why our lists are "wrong" and give your top twenty for that topic - we will consider and discuss and then re-finalize the list.  Although some websites try to have the "essential Elvis" lists that becomes almost impossible. Every fan is different, every opinion is correct because there are no facts when it comes to our favorites. These lists simply reflect what the Tribune feels are our favorites in each topic! These are by no means, 'essentials' for any fan or spectator, they are just a little bit of fun in this world full of countdowns and top lists. We hope you enjoy them, debate them and even send complaints. You'll notice one of our topics is "Songs" we will break this topic down into, Rock, Gospel, Love, Country etc because once again, you cannot pick the 20 greatest Elvis songs of all time because not everyone can agree on that. Elvis recorded over 850 songs in his career. Each one has its own special relevance to each fan. Just because one song was a number one hit doesn't mean it is considered one of Elvis' greatest songs just like, for some fans, a song from a movie may be there favorite. Example: If you look at "Suspicious Minds", a great Elvis song, his vocal ability and soul are really into it. But, a song like "So Close, Yet So Far From Paradise" can be considered to have the same soul and vocal ability and just as great from one fan to another but would it be on a "definitive top twenty list"?
